A bigger problem is that some of these companies have admitted to committing fraud. SnapNames.com is known for SHILL BIDDING (which means that their site is programmed to bid against you). Of course, they claim to be clean now, but who really knows. If you use these types of companies, DO NOT allow automatic bidding of any kind. Take the time to bid yourself. Also research the user names of anyone bidding against you to see if others have noticed something suspicious. With the Halvarez SnapNames case, this community among other sounded the alarm long before it was admitted that shilling bidding was taking place. As it turns out, we were right. Apparently, 1 out of 20 SnapName auctions was bid on by at least one SnapNames staff members (who did not go to jail for fraud). That's right. At least every 20th SnapNames.com domain auction was fraudulent. Keep that in mind when using auction sites.Backorder with Pool.com, NameJet.com AND SnapNames.com to give yourself the best shot at it. If they have a backorder for it, I would bet one of them would get it. Problme is if more than on person have that same idea, you will be sent to auction. GOod luck
