DMOZ "Cool site"

I received an email from DMOZ that my site has been listed there as a "cool site" which I guess means it gets a yellow star next to the listing and I get to display a little banner on the site. Does anyone have any idea if this really makes much difference in terms of traffic, value of the site (not that I'd sell), etc? When people look for link exchanges does this lend any weight?

Just curious if anyone has any experience with this feature of DMOZ.

Yes, the aardwolf.com site. I haven't added the DMOZ logo to the site yet though.

How long did it take you to get your name listed?

Thanks. I never actually submitted the site, but it's been up in some form or another since 1996 so I guess it was grandfathered in from old search engines. It actually has it's own category in DMOZ as the game has sprung up a number of fan sites which are listed within the category.

I went back to update the URL because we were able to recently acquire aardwolf.com (was aardmud.org prior to that) and after updating the URL got the email that was being added as a "cool site". Just not sure if it has any real meaning..
