Djibouti - you probably never even heard of this country. Perhaps the .dj is more well known to domainers than the country itself.

Who knows, its sort of ground floor. Domaining is struggling at the moment so baby steps if you decide to invest, but certainly an interesting place, and maybe, just maybe, an opportunity.

its something like .me extension and very close to Name.ART

Yes, this is more or less the current count. So it's safe to say the TLD isn't hugely popular and most regs must be out of country.

As someone who knows the country inside out, I can say many dont even know this extension. And between com and net, net is preferred a lot. I had A b o u t Djibouti in com and I let it drop and HD is having it. Hmmm... somehow , all the names I drop are taken buy BD or HD. Interesting.
