.ly names are expensive to renew and dirt.ly has negative connotation to it, so probability of someone paying for this is really low, like dirt cheap low...

Well it's Dirti.ly to be precise, but Dirt.ly looks better.

This is what I thought at first, but have you thought of the adult industry and dirt bike/car racing?

I think it's worth quite a bit, the trouble is getting it out there to the right buyer imo, but I would try BrandBucket and see if they will accept.

Adult developers seldom buy names on the aftermarket and certainly not in .ly
Besides, the registry will revoke adult names, or names used for things they deem offensive. What were you thinking ?

I don't understand what people generally think investing in those types of names.

If the renewals are $50/year and you hold 100 names, you need to invest $5000 upfront and spend $5000 more on renewals. Just to cover the renewals you'd need to sell 3%+ of your inventory every year, which is highly unlike.ly

BB has an apetite for -ly words it seems. Very good price but I think the renewal price is taken into consideration, making it a 'premium'.
