I have an innovative concept of directory in mind.

I had to choose a domain and I got... directory.io !

I'll call my directory "directory in & out" and I'm really happy about my purchase.

It's unforgettable and alternative, not the old .com or .net, not "verygooddirectory.com"...

What do you think about such a name?
Consider I'm going to develop it, not to resell...

Don't you think alternative domain extension could be very useful when they fit well the main word, even if they aren't so popular?

nice domain, but the hard part is to develop and promote it.
there are tons of directories that are being born even now.
unless you have a unique idea or go niche, it's generally not
worth your time and efforts.
