I am posting this in the .tv subforum because our participants are forward thinking and seek to understand video distribution on the Internet.

I want to know what your thoughts are on digital content distribution.

What are some implementable strategies for online and alternative distribution?

How do you plan on monetizing content?

How do you plan on getting an audience to your website?

These are serious questions that every developer must answer if he or she should be successful. I have met and spoken to a number of .tv owners and I enjoy hearing their ideas, which I find clever, creative, and innovative.

I thought it was time to start a more focused discussion on this topic.

My Plan for FSCO.tv

When it comes to forsalecallowner.com, once it is finished I will be using a seris of yard signs I have had printd up that direct buyers directly to video home show cases..forsalecallowner.com will forward to fsco.tv..ive done a we bit of marketing and one forsalecallowner.com sign in one week , depending of course where the property is, can generate up to 100 video hits in a week..
Im also in the process and doing this with out my development team, but developing about 14 nitch realestate channels<, notice how i said channels, to be used for upsales and links...This will all go down very soon in the following markets..South Florida, NYC, upstate & northern Yew york , cincinnati, seattle, San Jose and Myrtle Beach..These locations are where I have video cats such as myself to videotape homes and property for sale by owner for 170 us dollors a property for a 3 min video with music... thats pretty much it..

peace

Do a search on "disc jockeys" or "officiants" on Google. Officiants.tv and DiscJockeys.tv are in the paid section.

"reception halls" goes to ReceptionHalls.tv. "pest control" to PestControl.tv

BTW Mighty expensive and risky to do this. I've trained many Stanford MBAs and really smart folks on the technique. Only one grasped it (our former customer service director). She is now making the big bucks because trying to make money upselling clicks to leads can make you alot of money (when done right) or could send you to the poorhouse (if done wrong) - QUICKLY.

Did the same technique for my .COM site BanquetFacilities.com - Last time I looked BanquetFacilities.com was #1 on Google for the term (banquet facilities) and was on page one 48 hours after the page spidered.

And I'm going to use the same technique on our GEO sites.
