WASHINGTON – A senior Russian embassy official is threatening to use force if necessary to prevent the U.S. from deploying combat weapons in space.

Vladimir Yermakov, senior counselor at the Russian embassy in Washington, said his country is urging the U.S. through diplomatic channels against any plans for space militarization. But he told a space conference Russia would have to react, possibly with force, if the U.S. successfully put a "combat weapon" in space.

I think, firstly.. that those with this vitrol spewing forth about the USA need counseling..extensively. However, what is more curious is that these "people" (a term im using losely for them) would rather berate the United States.. who is doing nothing more than bringing liberty to a peoples who are being literally held hostage at gunpoint.. all the while these same "people" defend the practices of the terrorists, the rules that govern these slime, the abuse of women and slaughter of men who look ..for a job..

Well being as i served with members of your military in desert storm does'nt that make you kind of hipocrit?? I mean is simply that you do not value your freedom?? Honestly, research it. I havent seen or heard of a Brit in combat who thinks Iraq is right - they are there because they are honouring their pledge, not because they agree.
