Did MouthWash.com sell for about $350 recently?

Mouthwash.com was a make offer name I was monitoring in my Godaddy account, I had made a small bid on it as well.

But now it seems to have moved to my "Didn't Win" section and showing the domain as sold for about $350 on 6/JAN, about 5 days back.

But it doesn't reflect on WHOIS, which shows the last updated date as 14/sep/2014. So, the domain is not transferred yet and neither the registrar seems to be GoDaddy.

If the seller actually sold for that much and obliged the sale, it's perhaps gonna be great steal for the buyer.

Anyone else monitoring this?

Usually it takes min. of 7 days for transfer in GD auction.

As I remember, it was caught by Snapnames, and the auction was finished around $1k (or more)....

It would be a very bad flip selling for $350

I made a post about this domain back when it dropped a while ago Here...I think it was actually name.com who caught it. One thing to remember about that is Name.com only allows 1 backorder per name..That means someone initially picked it up dirt cheap.

Why would anyone ever want mouthwash.com?

I know Guys but I am not talking the earlier capture by Name.com, this event is quite recent, we are discussing the supposed sale at GoDaddy.

How the heck did Name.com catch a domain like mouthwash.com. I'd have happily paid more than $350 for this. Gutted I missed it.

Sometimes, the magic works for the underdog as well (in the drop catching business of course) :)

It has to be minimum $x,xxx value to the right buyer. low $xx,xxx wouldn't surprise me. Someone has got a bargain.

The name didn't sell. What you are seeing is an offer. The window for offers is open for a set period of time and then ends.

Why does GD need to have a "Sold At" column for an expired/declined offer?
Don't you find it strange?

From your screenshot it just looks like it closed. Or in other words, the allotted time for people to make offers expired.
