Development ideas and suggestions - TabletApp.com

Hi all

Firstly, I am not a web-designer and know absolutely nothing about it

I have recently bought this domain and a few people have PM'd me (here and other forums) and said it would be a great name to develop into a nice App store as Tablets and Apps have been all the talk at CES 2011 in Vegas this month and with the the iPad out and 80 more tablets to be released this year, Tablet Apps can only get bigger as more tablets are released

Someone also suggested using Apple's affiliate program - apple.com/itunes/affiliates/

As I said, I am totally new to this and would love to monetize this name as much as possible.

If its's not a great name to develop, please let me know that too..

Obvious idea is to offer app reviews and ratings and post app store affiliate link for each with a "more info / buy now". Develop the site before you apply to the affiliate program - Apple doesn't accept everyone who applies.

Are you looking to do a review site or an ecommerce for apps?.

DNNinja, I guess the most profitable way would be an ecommerce store selling the apps?

The main reason for this thread is to help me make that decision. Once I hear from all you pros/developers, then I can make a decision on it.

I am just out to get some feedback on what to do with the name...besides selling it lol

My ideas are pretty short. But you could look up Squadhelp.com. They can help you connect with people who can give you a flood of ideas for this.

I would go the affiliate route. That's gonna be your best bet of monetizing it. Then once you build up some traffic sell some ad spots to companies offering app development.
