Development and typo domains?

If you buy a new .com domain, and you plan to develop a huge large site - would you register the most common typo domains as well?

We're currently developing a large website, with a community forum and tons of other info! We're considering whether we should get all, some or none of the typo domains. Are they worth the pickup or should they be left alone?
