Developing forums?

I just recently added a forums to my site and want to develop them, but have no idea how to market it. Anyone have any suggestions? The site is fashion related. Thanks!

Also try to get some affiliates and join some link exchanges. That will bring some traffic to your forum .

That is good advice but just remember to be careful of what link exchanges you join. Search engines blacklist some link exchanges and all of the people listed in them especially if any of the sites breaks the rules like random invisible text at the bottom of a web site etc...
