domain Developed/Running/Profitable FreeHost ?

Ok people, I DONT want to sell this, I just need you opinions in convincing my parents it was worth the investment I bought it for.

Has over 100 forum members, and last count on the old server (just moved to a new one so the counts down a bit, be back up soon ) was 38 hosted users.

I bought it with a FREE LIFETIME reseller package that hosts them all just fine (which in my opinion was a friggin awesome deal). By the way, it's a very trustworthy host, and not an ebay Unlimited/Unlimited thing.

The hosting is supported either by ads, or posting in the forum. So with the free reseller account it costs nothing to run, right now it's making about an average of $35/month on Ads*cough*ense*cough*.

Like I said, I dont really want to sell it nor plan on selling it soon, I just want an outside opinion of what it's worth so I can know if I made a decent investment or not.

if its truly taking in $35/mo Cough*ads*cough*ense it depends on how patient you are in getting your payback. In other businesses a one year payback isn't too bad. so if you paid $400, it will pay for itself in a year, obviously.

It's truely getting $35/month "on average" this month it's been a little (about $30)down because we had server troubles, hence the change in servers. I expect it to jet back up to $45/m here pretty soon.

So here's my new question....

How much would YOU personally pay for it, IF I actually had it for sale?

True true ~ I don't think that it was worth 400 though or was that the full site?..

It was the full site(main page / forum), clients(105 of them), and server(free paid reseller 5GB/60GB). Thats what Im wanting appraised. , and I'd rather not announce what I paid for it. Just wondering what you guys would.
