trying to get few opinions or ideas on what I should or can do with the domain clips.tv

should I sell the domain or should I keep for development?

You mentioned just the other day that you were getting excited and most likely planning on developing this .TV domain, IMHO.

I don't think the ROI is there to try to sell it at this time! :imho:

Tough Question...

Do you need the cash?
How much is it worth to others now?
Do you have a passion for something that would make a great Video Clips site?
Can you develop it yourself or afford to pay someone to develop it to your liking?
Can you afford to hold on to it for a while longer as the .TV market is just starting to heat up and won't be to its pinnacle for at least another year or so...IMHO.

Put it out there for offers now, just to test the Market is my advice, then make your decision after you see if the money you could potentially make today is worth it to you.

I think with google tv you can feature a web channel, either .com - .tv , could open up a whole new marketing for search on the tv end.

IMO, I would sell it for $10,000 + and re-invest with other .tv names that might be as good or equal value.

Regarding Development, that is not my thing, is #3 on my list of what I hate the most, behind "death" and "taxes". Therefore, I am the wrong guy to ask.

I really like the name, it fit's .tv perfectly. Spend your energy and time marketing the name and you might find a great end-user who will pay you top $$$

Sell, name is too broad for development in my view but probably has good resale propects. It is a bit like owning video.tv or links.com, unless you are going to try to be the next youtube this doesn't really have an obvious commercial market.

You have to do what's right for you while considering its up-front investement cost and ongoing renewals (as well as potential ... perhaps significant ... development / promotion expenses), etc. If you do decide to try to sell in the short/near-term, you might want to contact "Portalis AG" directly, IMHO. :blink:
