wiki says it's slang for video, and even without wiki I would assume it's short for video.

When I see vid, first thing that comes to my mind is video, so I would have to agree with wiki.

This sounds very much like the name of some kind of video editing software. If you shop it around you may be able to find an end user willing to pay mid to high xxx.

Otherwise reseller I'd put it at low to mid xx.
