I noticed on another thread that an offer of 185k was made for mashup.com. Being new to this thing and hoping to catch perhaps a portion of the hype I was able to get ourmashup.com and yourmashup.com.

Obviously they won't pull that, but do they possibly have some value above reg?

What would you do with these?

To be perfectly honest, Im not quite sure I believe the MashUp.com sale price. Thats pretty incredible - however if in fact the post turns out to be accurate - your domains will hold the same value they did yesterday - regg fee. It all depends really what MashUp.com becomes, but I think your trying to cash in on something that wont deliver, good luck regardless.

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I looked on Sedo and there are at least 15 MashUp sites of various stripes that have bids on them, some with asking prices as much as $10k.

Of course there is no way to know what people are actually offering, but there seemed to be enough interest that I thought I would give it a shot.

If nothing comes of it, no loss. Reg for 2 domains is nothing.

It will be interesting to see if he accepts that offer and then takes it to auction. That would prove that he actually got that offer correct?

If that offer is indeed accurate and accepted - I would expect to see it in DNJournal in the next few weeks.
