Deleting/unregistering domains

please help me.
i'm new to domains and own a trademark domain ...not realising i was infringing laws.
i intend to delete it but unsure how to. i bought it from 123-reg.
it is rydercup2011.com

You need to contact your registrar if they support or allow cancellation of domains with refund.

I don't think he registered rydercup2011.com in "error", but more along the lines of Uneducated.

Live and learn. Don't register domains that contain trademarked terms and you will be fine! Search for the TM BEFORE you buy.

It's is in the RGP since you registered it on the 9th , so the registrar might allow you to redrop it if they offer the option.

If they do not, your stuck with it for a year, so do not put any Golf keywords in.

Most registrars will delete a domain upon request even if the domain is not within the 1st 5 days. Of course you would not receive a refund after that point.

If they do not drop it they will place it into an account used as a holding area until it is up for renewal.

you might have a delete button also, i can't remember the panel layout there... quick phone call should do just as well though
