Then parked at GoDaddy for the last decade.

Was watching the auction. And how do they know that without that crappy GoDaddy appraisal it wouldn't have turned some potential buyers off and sold for more? Of course it would have. Critical Thinking seems to be a virtue that many Domainers don't possess.
