Dedicated Servers

Hey all,

I was just wondering if many were interested in dedicated servers on this forum? I see many offers and request for shared hosting but very few dedicated server request/offers.

I hope mods don't think this as an offer but I'm just interested to know your thoughts on dedicated servers. Too pricey? Not worth it? I think this etc.

If I get a good response I may start to bring out some special requests for those here at namepros.

WHT gets lots of response from dedicated servers so voice your thoughts please

I think that need in dedicated server stipulated by current size of the projects and that is in 95% cases is next step afret dedicated server or VPS

I know from client experience that after they grow from VPS they upgrade to a dedicated server.

There is also those who jump from reseller to dedicated as some do not like VPS. I don't know any reason why they don't seem to like VPS.

But thats each person's opinion.

I have my own dedicated server and really enjoy it. I'm sure I could do just fine on a VPS, however I prefer to know I have plenty of room to grow and if my sites ever do well on Digg, Stumbleupon, etc I know that I can more than handle it.

The peace of mind is worth it for me. I also don't like being told what I can and can't do.

I suppose that if people really need dedicated server or VPS they would come to you and they would order it. I know only small % of people start with dedicated server
