Dedicated Server - Help Required

I am running a small forum at the moment that is costantly going down due to the hosting provider I am using at the moment. I heard that a dedicated server was the next step but I don't really no where to start, anyone have any advice? My forum is still very small (83 members) but I obviously wish It to have 100% uptime as opposed to about 80% which it has now. The forum is growing at a constant rate, so I am not really worried about it not succeeding.

i hardly think you need a dedicated server if you have only 80 memebers, just chose a more reliable hosting company

Well basicly for a good dedicated server to give u a reliable service you would be looking like 200-250 per month for something 1/2 decent, so yes its out of your league, but what you need to do is order hosting from another company that offers at least a 99.5% uptime, i would check out http://www.volonetworks.com
