Ok, I have some questions which i would be glad if someone could answer.

I just registered a .de domain at godaddy and they said they provide German Admin Contact in case you dont have one.

But i have not received any info which i should be adding in the Administrative contact of the domain, so how do i go abt it? Is there something that i am missing?

Secondly, .de domains also have some DNS Rules which need to be followed. I am not much of a technical person, so in short i want to ask that can i park the domain at sedo with sedo's nameserver's?

Thirdly, What is the transfer procedure for .de domains?

Thankyou for the time and patience for reading my questions.
Any help would be highly appreciated. :)

You must provide at least 2 name servers and they must on different class C IP addresses or they will be rejected by registry. Sedo parking is fine.

for me go daddy always automatically provided the german contact and just let you go ahead with the registration - theres nothing you need to actually do i that regard.

as for parking the names, sometimes there are problems with the nameservers (you also spoke about some sort of regulations), so i usually just forward the name to the parking provider. i believe all parking programs have the option to reset the nameserver or forward the url in order to point the name to their parking page. hope this helps

Godaddy kicked one of my .de registrations back once because I didn't have a physical german contact. So, I have my aunt in Germany as my admin on my .de domain names. All the others went through without a problem with me in the US as the only contact, but after that happened I put my German aunt as my admin on all my .de accounts just in case a technicality comes up down the road.
