I just recently had a DDos attack on my server. SQL is dead what should I do?

You should have back-ups! If you don't, what was the SQL database for?

Check your logs, see if you can find who did the DDoS attack also.

I know who did it he told me and said it was an accident. Should I delete his SQL?

Beats me. But, the problem is fixed.

Not really sure how to retrive your data, but to prevent this from happening, you can get an anti-ddos program, I don't know any from the top of my head but there are a few programs that can stop ddos attcks simply by banning the IP that is using too much bandwidth or too much CPU.

Install APF firewall and DDOS Deflate. Will solve any and all ddos problems.
