Any thoughts? Dato means data in spanish and returns about 80M Google results, some Wordtracker, advertisers, and companies using this word in their name (or as an acronym).

Have it on Sedo auction at the moment... What do you guys think it'll close at?

Pretty amazing name eh? I don't normally ask for appraisals, but I'll be honest -- I have absolutely no idea what this is going to go for!

Trabajo.net ("work" in spanish) sold for $34000, as reported in DN Journal, and that's for a .net... I put it on Sedo at No Reserve -- kinda scared, kinda have an adrenaline rush -- both at the same time!! :hearts:

Really hoping for an enduser with this one -- it's a great name and it would be a shame to see it end up with just another domainer (no offense!). Seems to be the name of several lawyers and CEOs... I don't usually solicit by email, but with how big most CEO's egos are, I can't resist the possible bidding war that may ensue

It is a premium Spanish keyword. Perhaps a data aggregator would love to own this name. Another possible application would be data recovery services.

I would not contact companies that have 'Dato' as part of their name. Even though the term is generic in itself you could land yourself in a situation where you are attempting to sell them their TM...

I'm not sure about the market for Spanish names I could see the name selling for mid-$$,$$$ easily. Good luck.
