looking for your appraisals for datacomms.com.
well, is it about data communication? The niche is good , the singular version is developed though and belongs to a big company so I would say your chances of selling it for good money is pretty low,
It’s value is exactly what you have recently paid on snapnames.
not necessarily my friend. why then would any domain investor be bothered with the aftermarket to acquire names at low cost and then market to other investors or end users?
Domains market doesn't work like gold or oil markets. The reason is every domain is different from others and every end user is different from others. There are no market standards. The value of any name is what a buyer is willing to pay. In the recent auction you were the highest bidder. Usually domainers end up paying the end user price; in fact, in many cases more than an end user would be willing to pay.
There are some cases where domainers have flipped their names for good price but they are rare. I don’t see your name in that category. That’s my personal opinion, you have every right to disagree with that.
I know, and agree with your first paragraph.
However, there are not some, but many sales by the week where domains are flipped for profit and not to forget those that are not reported - if you follow this industry on a daily basis its obviously not rare at all.
Regarding this name, if I decided to sell, you can only know it is a good flip when you consider the purchase price - do you actually know what I paid for this domain as you dont see my name in 'that category'?
Thanks for your opinion. I guess time will tell.
No, I don’t know what actually you paid but that’s not the point.
What I know is that you have acquired this name recently in an auction and therefore I know what maximum (x amount) someone is willing to pay. I hope it makes sense.
Wish you good luck with the name. It’s a good name, though.
Separate names with a comma.
