Data Recovery {NP$}

Got a lovely corrupt file, the whole £$%£"$%£$% thing instead of Hello how are you.

I have tried "recovery for works" which does half but the rest says demo, which is no use and this isn't worth 199.99 to me.

The file is a WPS works file, and it's 4MB.

Anyone who can reccomend a way to uncorrupt it all will get 100np$.

The program you tried is the only one i know, and the only thing google has turned up for me is:

The only other thing i can suggest (and i am unsure if Works has this) but in microsoft office you can go to file -> open -> select file -> select "open and repair" from the drop down menu by OPEN.

Worth a shot, although it may not be a feature of works or do anything useful.

edit: office can open works 6/7 files so it may be worth finding someone with microsoft office and using the repair feature on there if works does not have it.
