darwin is the name of the capital of the northern australia province.(there are, perth, darwin, brisbane, melbourne, hobart, adelaide, sidney, and canberra, if I remember)

hmm the reason I bought that is because I live in winnipeg here and I keep looking at winnipegweather.com everyday, and hell almost everybody in here do this, but ya, seems like it is not worth that much since it is so local.

I'd say that 99% of domain names are less brandable than weather.com - a short, memorable, and extremely common generic name. Having a less brandable name doesn't make it worthless :P

Anyhoo, I could see this going for low XXX to an end user; weather domains are pretty common amongst geographical domains, but because this is a smaller area (in comparison to other cities, countries, states, etc.), this is probably worth low -mid xx in resellers market.

haha getting a big city/capital city/famous city geoweather domain is not easy nowadays~~
dunno, I think darwin is quite popular in australia, new zealand, a few part in indonesia, papua new guinea, singapore, and timor leste. but yeah, darwin has only 100,000 to 120,000 peoples there

if ya, tell me about darwin, I have never been there myself~~, have been to melbourne, perth, sydney, goldcoast, and brisbane. they are good cities, especially melbourne. (dont like perth too much tho)

You should have researched this better. You can have a static page that just says "STINKING HOT" because it's hot practically every day of the year in Darwin. It also has a small population and probably the least amount of internet users percentage-wise in Australia.
