Maybe you are thinking of GBH.com which went to the auction block twice in November?
GBT.com was registered to Suntrust Bank for the past 10 years and expired April 27 2010, hence true pre-release.

My mistake... although I still reserve my distaste for non-paying bidders and the way namejet handles the issue.
