I did some research about surnames starting with Å in Sweden.

There are atleast 38 surnames that start with Å

Even Americans that have Swedish ancestry might be interested.

Now if you consider that almost 50% of the Swedes immigrated to the US in the late 1800s thats 1,5 Million people. 1/5 of them returned to Sweden but still thats alot of people that stayed.

ie the Swedish Åström changed to Aastrom or Aastroem. Åberg to Aeberg and so on. How many first names names start with a D ? Alot.

Maybe I should try my luck in Minnesota.

Now if you're a Swede living in Sweden it would be pretty cocky if someone asked for your site and you just gave them the name initials då.com

Most likely he wouldn't even understand what you told him. Unless you both are native speakers of Swedish?

I can hardly pronounce it and being a Dane I heard those pesky swedes say 100s of times.

Maybe you can get lucky and sell it much much higher than what any comparable domain name has sold for. Maybe you are the bomb as a seller. I cant say that? I can say that looking at the comparable sales and my experience contacting private End Users, that you can expect a sales price of low to mid xxx USD, if you can sell it at all.

it's someone from the Nordic countries that buys it. If it was my initials I would probably look at it as a status thing and I would probably not use Då.com as my Supder Duper Email Portal For International Communications Only. I get that OK.

As stated, I am from the Nordic countries, I dont think its worth much even though I am from your target market. If you cant stomach the responses you should not ask for valuations. Just go do your super seller thing.

I just did do my super selly thing a couple of minutes ago.

I do not sell or Trade Domains because I need the money . I do it because I enjoy it. I never expect anything low when I'm selling something that I believe is good. It's not like you automaticly become a noob on domains just because I am new to the forum. I sell for the kicks, the money is just a bonus. When I bought my first domain . I had to do it on paper back in the 90's so please don't play Mr Knowit All

I asked for an Appraisal just to see what you guys thought of the domain name not what you thought of me.

And please no more personal insults like " Looks like your career in domaining is equally long."

I can take criticism just don't make it personal.

Ok people let's do this instead. Rate it from 1 to 10 in your opinion.
