Perhaps NP wasn't accessible to many users for a minute or two . That's the only reason I can think that this could've happened.

No i saw it lower then 18 active last night but then all of a sudden it started jumping back to its right normal np amount!

Righto, it sounds like a temporary technical issue / maintenance / tweak, IMHO. :gl:
Last time I saw only 18 active people on #1 Namepros was early '03! :p
