I put YERX.com on eBay and I'm wondering if my starting bid is realistic.

It is a grammatically pronounceable 4-letter .com. Easily brandable and easier to pronounce, spell & remember. E and R are good letters, the X is at the end and Y is seen as good and bad both. What would you say it's worth? I have it started at $250.

In case you want to see the listing:

That's what I was thinking. But YERX has 2 solid letters and 1 that can go both ways. In a way, I'm thinking $150 is a better starting bid but this should sell for more.

I have been ebaying for many years. You would attract more bidders my starting it under 10 bucks. I would start at 9.99.

Trust me it will always do better starting at 9.99 that 150.00

Plus less listing fees.

I have over 5000 all positive feedback on ebay so I do know a little about selling on ebay

Thanks, reps added.

I'm researching eBay right now.It seems that a .99 listing made many auctions go to early $xxx If this doesn't sell for $250, I'll likely relist at 99 cents.

How about putting a reserve price at $150 but starting at 0.99?

As it has been mentioned, it is unlikely that the domain will get a bid at that start price. I have always started my auctions at 99p / 99cents as this generates the greatest interest.

However, I would value your name at between $100-$200. t is a double premium with one 'bad' letter. The value increases due to its pronouncability. I would suggest getting it pushed to auction at Sedo... This is THE auction selling venue for LLLL.com's at the moment.

Hope this helps, rep appreciated.

I would pull it from eBayif I can get a $60 offer on SEDO so I can push it to auction :)

It finished at $249.99. Not bad for a $10 investment :sold:
