I posted this down in the lounge but this board is prolly more appropriate considering the amount of time that has lapsed since my last visit. I'm having a little fun w/ the post, but all of the jokes are on me.
So how are you my old buds, fellow pimps, bean counters and padnas in crime? Since last we met, (before a short break went long and turned into an MIA while my whole world was a rockin' around me.) I was visited by 5 or 6, (still a bit to numb to remember) of life's top 10 stress-outs, including a couple of bonus double dippers. I consider myself lucky. I got rid of a couple that you can only get once and they came all together in one tight three year package so I got to take all of the medicine at once. Speaking og medicine, I had some good designer stuff to help to see me through- the only problem is that I was too depressed to enjoy them when I was taking them and now that I'm feeling good enough to put them to good use and feel even better, they won't give them to me because I'm not depressed. Depressing, isn't it?
I started climbing back about a year ago, retooled my studio from "one of a kind" designs into an assembly line production scheme, found a new niche to pimp to, was pimped by some new pimps to pimp with, (once a pimp, always a pimp), things got better...
and now I'm back..to let you know
that I can really... shake em down.

Now that the obligatories are outta the way, i've gotta come clean w/ you. There's more going in this post than might meet the eye. Although I associate putrid pastels, giggling girlies in bonnets dahdah-googoo, stuffed rabbits, the scent of hard boiled eggs, undersized wool sports coats, sweat, butt shifting boredom, church pews w/o distraction material, acid reflux, car sickness, claustrophobia, and crappy candy lost in baskets stuffed w/ a straw filler of undetermined origin, Easter is just around the corner. (It could disappear and I'd never know it.) Despite being repulsed by the metaphor, what better way to celebrate Easter than to plant a virtual -> Easter Egg <- in a post and link it to my Facebook? Once I make my first post in Facebook, it'll be a neat way to introduce my friends to Grrilla and to the nature of the community that he was prowling night and day during his 3 year tenure as a staff member.
Conversely, if you're on Facebook or would like to visit my page, PM me and I'll get back w/ the particulars. I've been writing a lot, have plenty of available content that I'm putting together, but am still working out my approach to cover an audience that's not only diverse, motley etc (like around here), but is made up of people who I can't b/s and who actually know what i look like behind the mask. Man, this Facebook can really be stifling to a guy's creativity.
After survival, the primary force that guides my life is procrastination.
