Hi,

I'm looking for getting your appraisals and comments on the domain name which is the combination of "RT = Real-Time" and "SEC= Security", RTSEC.com.

Could you share me your opinions on it?

Thank you in advance!

In reality it's really just another random LLLLL.com.

And there is no real value for these names yet.

$0 value as is IMHO.

There is no value for those which you call "random LLLLL" but it's completely different from RTSEC.com

There are links for the acronyms that RTSEC formed by.

There are a lot of end users for that. [high end security companies (either physical, like home or business alarm & monitoring or virtual, like IT security ops)].

---------

Is there any domain professional who is able to analyze RTSEC.com and give an accurate valuation?

Cheers!

1. Just because you see "real time security" in RTSEC does not mean everyone else will also see it.

And the term "Real Time Security" itself is weak IMO.

"Real Time Security" is still available to hand-reg in every extension except .com.

2. "R T S E C" is in fact a random group of letters that you construed to have meaning. Hence, a random LLLLL.com.

Anyway, I wish you luck in all your domain endeavours.

Sorry checklist but there is no value what so ever in this name, if there was any value at all you would not have been able to hand reg it the other week. A name that has value gets a lot more than 32,400 search results when googling it. A name that has value also gets more than 46 broad searches/16 exact searches in the keywords tool search. Last but not least you need to change this "Is there any domain professional who is able to analyze RTSEC.com and give an accurate valuation?" to this "Is there anyone that can tell me the answer that I want to hear about RTSEC.com's value?"

Cheers!

The name itself is not great plus a long and unfriendly acronym.

With unfrienly I mean an uneven letter amount allocation, the first two letters one letter for a word and followed by three letters "sec" for "security". If it were been "rtc" it would be a different story. It could be anyway but have no value

Brandable and Pronounceable 5 letter are the only ones worth reg fees,In my Opinion. LLLLL Acronyms are a hard sell. Try and get refund or try to sell ,if not let it drop.

That name is for end-users whose business in the security industry or who is about to run a business in the same area.

And yes, it may be hard to sell such domains, but it's just a matter of branding, right? I'll have that domain until I find an end-user for it. I'm sure it's worth to keep it.

Well, I appreciate you've taken your time to reply this thread. It's been really helpful.

Thank you all!

Cheers

I see your point, it's an acronym of 3 words, in 5 letters. It's better than 5 letter acronyms.

However, the phrase "real time security" isn't that signifigant to begin with. You have no value for a reseller, if you can find the end user who will develop the domain, you at least get your renewal fees back.

You should indeed advertise the domain as brandable for a better chance at selling it, if no trademarks exist. Even then i don't see a huge profit because of the other options to hand register for the same domain for under ten bucks.
