Invalid PR?

I own the following domain names (and some others 2-3 I want to build):

anatomy.gr
att.gr
cci.gr
dsth.gr
dsx.gr
eca.gr
eci.gr
has.gr
isf.gr
jeweler.gr
ode.gr
opt.gr
osa.gr
pea.gr
pharmacist.gr
pharmacology.gr
sexologia.gr
stevia.gr
teledata.gr
telemarket.gr
translator.gr

I checked the pagerank of them using the following sites(bulk checking):

http://www.seochat.com/?option=com_seotools&tool=10
http://www.bulkpagerank.com/default.aspx
http://rankinspect.com/multiple-pagerank-checker.php
http://www.bulkpagerankchecker.com/page-rank-checker.php
http://www.initool.com/bulk_pr_checker.html

All showed PR=3 for all domains. Until yesterday all of them were been forwarding to att.gr
Since I cant't build any of them I am not intend to increase its PR.

But I have 2-3 other domains (I haven't put them on a server yet) and I want to build.
So I bought a VPS and I put all of them on it so to create links to them.

I want to ask you:
1) Could PRs be invalid? (I ask it because for most of them I did nothing to increase its PR)
2) If they are valid what PR should I expect if all of them link to the same and only one?
3) Do you know a better way to earn more PR from these PageRanks if they are valid? I mean e.g. creating links among them too?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
Can PRs be invalid? = YES

If the PR are valid what should you expect? = Only google knows :'( But if PR are valid and they are on different IP's then you can expect some positive stuff.

Way to earn from PR = Selling Links = Bad stuff.

Creating links among them? = Yes could help if not done on large scale.

Can PRs be invalid? = NOT LIKELY!

I did a quick check on a few of the domains in question on archive.org.

Everyone I checked had quite a history, thus the PageRank is carrying over from the past. Kind of a virtual - cached PR.

Once Google does an major PR update, which they do about 4 times a year, they will find your domains now sitting with a new IP address and nameserver, sending out a redirect. PR will drop to 0 or N/A. Guaranteed.

Any money that you may try to make from them through their current PR will evaporate.

Is it true ? I don't know about this before.
How about, for an example I buy expired domain with a good backlink, then I change the IP address and nameserver, what happen with this domain PR ?

pagerank doesn't drop to 0 or n/a because of changing nameservers or ips.

pagerankman is absolutely wrong and i wouldn't be surprised if pageranksubmit.com is a total sham.

I agree , a little too convenient that pageranksubmit.com was quoted by a New User as his first post

As to the original matter of those domains.
WAY too MUCH emphasis is placed on PageRANK
It has little real Value on it's own.
Better to have quality links from relevant sites
than just any old Links for PR boosting

Barefootech is right about "WAY too MUCH emphasis is placed on PageRANK
It has little real Value on it's own.
In fact, the only thing that matters is SERP --> Search Engine Result Position.
And SERP depends mainly of the inputted search terms in the search engine and found search terms on web documents.
All other man-made formulas may have some statistical value only.
And statistics say things only about the past, not the future.
PageRank is just an interpretation of a in-house statistical model.
The numbers are objective, the interpretation is subjective.
PR, Traffic, Value, etc. are subjective and relative: Purely a matter of beliefs.

Here is an example that works with several search engines:
Do a search for: scientific domain appraisals and "scientific domain appraisals".
Look at the SERP of the web under the domain ScientificDomainAppraisals.com.
Look at the Page Rank.
There is no relationship.
I prefer a high SERP over a high PR.
But, again, this is a matter of beliefs.
The supply and demand principle ...

I didn't say that just because of changing IP address or nameservers will change one's PageRank! I said Google will notice the change which will trigger the comparison between the new site and the cache.

The only way I can prove I'm right is to give a month or two and then check where the PR is.

I didn't think my honest opinion made me out to be a "sham". Pretty harsh. Thats a really great way to welcome new posters...

actually you did, but anyway...

pagerank is calculated by links going to and from a website. what does comparing a "new site" and its cache have to do with pagerank? what does comparing any site and its cache have to do with it? real pagerank is being calculated and changed all the time throughout a month whether a site changes ips or not.

also, domains with a new nameserver doesn't send out a redirect to user agents, it just directs them somewhere else without hitting the old nameservers.

If you get a PR0, then it means you did something to piss off google, they have control over the PR system (duh lol).
