Hi, my name is Dylan Jeffers, and I’m the founder of Cotton.Auction. I started Cotton.Auction with a simple belief: agricultural producers deserve fair access to markets, transparent pricing, and modern tools—without being buried by middlemen or excessive fees. Cotton is one of the world’s most essential commodities, yet many small and independent sellers still operate with outdated systems that limit reach and profitability.
Cotton.Auction is my attempt to change that. I’ve spent years developing practical skills across marketplace design, online auctions, product sourcing, vendor onboarding, logistics planning, and compliance-focused sales structures. I understand how to build platforms that balance seller freedom, buyer trust, and legal responsibility, especially in regulated or commodity-based markets. I also bring hands-on experience working with bulk goods, liquidation inventory, agricultural classifications, and pricing transparency. Right now, I’m seeking $800 in initial funding to complete a critical early phase of the platform.
This funding will be used strictly for: Final platform setup and hosting stability Seller intake tools and listing infrastructure Compliance language and transparency features Initial outreach to small producers and resellers This isn’t venture capital. This isn’t speculation. It’s community-backed infrastructure. My long-term goal is to create a marketplace that: Gives producers control over how their goods are sold Allows buyers to participate in fair,
open.
Auctions Keeps costs low and access wide Supports ethical, lawful, and transparent trade If you believe in building systems that empower producers, improve access, and modernize agriculture without exploitation, your support—whether financial or by sharing—directly contributes to that mission. Thank you for taking the time to read, support, or simply acknowledge this effort. Every contribution helps move Cotton.Auction closer to becoming a durable, ethical marketplace that serves more than just profit. — Dylan Jeffers
