domain Corporate-Events dot us

I was just doing a random search for some keywords and came across this domain.

corporate-events(.)us

All other tld's are taken such as .com, .net, .info, .co.uk, .org, .eu

The same two keywords without the dash (-) are all taken as well (obvious as that may seem). Nearly every major tld's taken.

So I thought this might be worth something. I also registered the .in since that too was available.

348,000,000 results on Google for corporate events
or
1,920,000 results on Google for corporate-events

So I'd love to hear what you NP'rs think of this domain. Is it worth anything? Did I just waste the regfee or is it worth holding onto?

Any ideas for development / sales / parking etc. would be much appreciated. Thank you

That's very funny! I was literally also looking at those domains, randomly, about 5 minutes ago - haha.

Since parking this at sedo its received 49 type-ins (its been parked for about 4-5 days now). No clicks, but its getting some traffic?!

its too long.. Have you tried CorpEvents? or Corp-Events.com ? but I'm not sure there is much of a market for this.. What exactly would that site do / provide for corporation events? isn't most of this internal ?

IMO 'corporate-events' even with the hypen is great domain name.

There are many companies, who provide services such as corporate event planning who would be interested . However this may also be carried out by the companies own p.a.

The only downfall here is the .us extension.

if it was without the hypen, the .us would not too much of an impact, though the hypen plus the .us extension i think hurts this domain alot.

You need to find the end user for this one. End user IMO low xxx

I agree with the comment above, keywords are pretty strong but hyphen and .us extension both together really kill any resale value.

Ah finally some appraisals :D thanks guys. I know the hyphen and .us doesn't help - but like I said all other tld's even with hyphen are taken. I work in corporate events so thought I'd give it a go.

If I had the time, I'd develop a site but unfortunately I don't so I'll probably just leave it parked for now. Hopefully I can find an end user through some of my work contacts in the US.

I think that you have a good keyword name even thought it is a .Us ext., last time I looked , there is still plenty of Corporations in the US., I have corporateheadquarters.net thinking that they would want it sooner or later, so I wait, I think high XX right now unless you develop.........
