Hi,
Can I post articles that have been written by others on my site?
At the end of each article, the name of the author is displayed.
Is that ok? Do I need explicit written permission from each author?

The articles are all of SEO nature...

Please advice,
Anthony

Well you do need permission if the site doesnt allow the articles to be posted anywhere else without the writer's consent but not if its from a blog or such, if its a blog then a link to it and the writers name should be enough as you will be doing him a favour by giving him backlinks.

Unless you have permission, it is best not to use articles or blog posts. A brief summary and a link to the original is generally okay, but stealing someone's blog content without permission is bad form IMHO.

You need permission to do that. I would flip out on you if it was my article on your site. I would get you banned in the serps, send a C&D, then slap you with a copyright infringement suit.
