Anyone know of a free program that can copy colour code from web pages.
I know it's been mentioned here at NP 2-4 weeks ago but I can't find it.

Thanks GIL

Gilsan,

Do you mean pick the colors out of parts of a web page? If so, use Firefox and the "Colorzilla" plug-in, http://www.iosart.com/firefox/colorzilla/

Makes it real easy to grab the codes of the colors that you like.

@Testcase. I downloaded Colorzilla. Installed it and restarted firefox. Add-ons tells me it's installed, but I can't find it anywhere in the menus. How to activate it?

Exactly that. But I did'nt want to install another browser+plug-in. Just a small simple program that did the job. I know that it was mentioned here at "Parking & Traffic Monetization". I've been looking for it but can't find it.
Thanks for the sugestion TestCase

This is the one that I personally use. It's just an eye dropper, and it's an external program.

Hey Donny that's just Perfectooo!. Have already tried it out. It's small, simple and efficient.

Many thanks GIL

Donny how do I stop the eye dropper rectangle from following tne cursor after I finished using it?. It's fallen in love with my cursor and won't let it go!

GIL

OK I figured it out.

It's not in any menu. Click on the eye dropper on the bottom left. Double click it and you get a color picker.

Cool. I missed that one :) Now, if only there was away to right-click on the color code it provides to copy it to the buffer instead of having to get pen and paper to write it down.
