Contest Sponsors???

Do any of you have any ideas on how to find sponsors for contests on your site?
I have a web site that I plan to offer monthly contests on, and would love to find sponsors to, in exchange for advertising, supply the prizes.

Any ideas?

Can you give us some details about your site and possibly the URL? That way if someone is interested, they can take a look at the site and possibly contact you about it if they want to. There may be someone here at NamePros interested in helping out.

The site is not "Live" yet, so I'm not ready to give the URL.
I can say that it will have a lot to due with electronics, and be geared to a specific audience. Plus the niche is not over saturated and there is only a couple of popular sites that fit in with my idea.

So basically I will be seeking sponsors that deal with tech/electronics gear.

i thing you must show your recent project. About your last website that you have made, optimize, maintain, etc. Than, show the benefit it someone have have ready to be your sponsored.

Nobody will be willing to sponsor a contest in exchange for advertising until there is in fact just that, effective advertising. You'll probably need to prove that you're site is worth sponsoring, so work up a bit of traffic first. Give away a t-shirt or something to begin with that is inexpensive and you can provide for yourself. This may be the best way to attract attention.
