I am trying to register a domain with two hyphens next to each other, would anyone know an online service that can do this? or is there now a rule that this isn't possible? I've tried several so far, any help would be greatly appreciated.
i.e. examp--le.net
I've just read this on one website
" A little known fact is that you can have multiple hyphens right next to each other (eg. domain--names.com). However, please DO NOT use double hyphens at the 3rd and 4th position of the domain name."
That's exactly where the hyphens would be, is this not allowed? if so how come the domain was regd before? I don't think I'm supposed to have this domain.
Edit: I've given up, no matter. But I'd still like to know if that third and fourth banning of double hyphens is correct or it's just a system malfunction. I tried reging all numbers once and Ukreg couldn't handle it and needed to do it manually.
