Compton Community College i.e. comptoncc.net with over 100 visit in 20 days has an alexa rank of 24080 and a lot of back links drives in a lot of traffic
i havent played with the domain still ..
but its more from a developing point of view
check alexa for more traffic details

[Edit]Also, I just checked Alexa and they don't seem to be reporting the correct information. If you look at the listing it says

Cc.ca.us has a traffic rank of: 247978

The listing for comptoncc.net brings up information for compton.cc.ca.us. So this looks like it was an add-on or parked domain perhaps?
