Hi,
I am looking for someone who can find, implement and maintain a bidding website.
I want to create a site, not like ebay or those types of bidding/auction sites. I want a site, with just one item to bid on on the front page. This item will be something that I am offering eg. a Playstation. I want a payment system (Paypal, Google Checkout etc) so people can pre-purchase bids and then use them. The system must work such that people can register, bid with their paid bids via their username. when they bid, like any other site, a certain amount, say 5 cents is added to the price of the product and maybe 20 seconds added to the timer. When the time eventually runs out, the person must get the option to pay the current price of the product and get the product. That is how i'd explain it in lay-mans terms. I would also like easy social networking (facebook etc) integration.
I need someone to:
- find and implement a script (or build one)
- Design the site layout and graphics (incl. logo etc)
- Implement all aspects of the functioning of the site
- implement a payment system
Basically build the site up and get it to that stage where it is functioning well.
Also a bit of SEO wouldn't hurt. Although my main marketing platform is through social media integration.
I would need this person to be able to maintain the site - although i'm looking for a site with an easy back-end for admin usage. Maintenance and fees related to ongoing work is a separate deal from this one.
I am not looking to spend a lot of money on the initial product but would be looking at making it a larger, more lucrative (for both parties) operation in the long term is things work out.
The essentials are an easy looking and running interface with a integrated bidding, payment and social networking system.
If you have ALL the necessary skills and experience and think you share in my vision of what I am looking for, PM me back and let me hear your ideas and/or see some of your work. Also, give me a estimate as to what you want to charge.
waiting to hear from you.
