What are some common ad dimensions?
I own an auto forum and want to make some.
Also, what animation programs are good?

Yup 460px x 60px is good for the same size as an advertisement we have near the top o fnamepros. Also there are 150px x 150px boxes (mostly for sidebars). I am wondering why you would use a flash ad instead of google adsense or YPN?

They are the ones i suggest. Also for animation: Flash, Imageready, Animation Shop. I'm not sure of any fee ones at the moment.
