Hello,

Please can you give me some suggestions on how to improve the way my forum looks but keeping the default skin in mind.

URL is http://www.a-2z.com and it would be very appreciated if you could tell me how to improve. :)

it's just...too generic. You need some custom drive on there. I'm not sure why you'd like to stick with the generic skin unless there's some technical reason of functionality.
Your logo is pure font, change that as well. Try to "wow" the user, especially since you don't have the content or large number of registered users.
Try to get the answers to some questions across:
What's my benefit as a WM to be on this board?
How impressed are you when you look at your own board?
You're a WM yourself, what would it take to keep you?
Why should i contribute and not just read the forum?
What are the benefits of a registration on your board?

Get these questions answered, either visually through pics/design or via text/design.

Hope this helps.

IB, Updated it a lot more now. New design, better logo although I will be getting a better one done but it's a bit more attractive and matches the forum colours.

I'm trying to get those questions of yours answered aswell. :P

I think the font on the logo should be just a wee bit bigger so it would be more eye-catching. The blue/white forum template looks like a classic template...which isn't bad at all because many people actually like simple forum templates. But it does lack originality I guess.
