Hi,

Any suggestions/comments on the adsense placement at www.businessday.us appreciated. Thanks Would it get clicks? Could I place other ads where it wouldn't look "spammy"?

Again, please not a design review; just some little suggestions as to improve the adsense/SEO of the site.

put a horizontal 468 X 15 linkunit (not ad unit) with 5 links per unit just above the loooooong search box align it in such a way that the tiny little "ads by google" is just above the "google logo" now these links should appear as if they are options over the looooooooooooooong search box (hehe like images, news, groups)

the other thing is about the article excerpts that you are showing.... increase the vertical spacing between them a little bit... they appear too cramped up (in contrast google ads do have significant vertical space between them although this space keeps varying depending on the number of ads being shown at any given time)

Hey sm, thanks I'll add the link unit right now I guess.

The spacing between items is tricky since the RSS feeds are outputted via an external javascript Do you know of a way using CSS to space out between them?

cool... the link unit is looking perfect ....

i saw the html source: since you're using using an external script over which probably you have no control, it'll be difficult to get the spacing right. try styling the <td> element ... but i doubt there's a way....... why not use a script whose output you can control......

you can use one that i wrote (but it's not well tested).. check my blog.. there's a download link.

It might get clicks but so many people are showing sites that have the same thing as you do that the competion will be murder. Good luck though.

Lol, I dunno... it gets typein traffic (about 250 a month, and rising really fast) so that's why I'm devving it.
