If I can find an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy individual willing to develop some of my domains into hosted websites for PPC income, what percentage of the profits would be fair to pay them?

This person would be solely responsible for all of the work required to build the site and place it with the host as well as SEO updating, advertising, ad placement, refinements, etc. to keep the domain as profitable as possible.

My partner would have a choice from approx. 1000 domains for the ones he or she wished to develop. We would limit the number of developed sites in the beginning to see how it works out and get an idea of whether or not it would be worthwhile for each of us.

Of course, I would pay all initial costs involved including hosting, software, and advertisments (if used) and this would come off the top before any profit split. This is all in the plan development stage and I know there's much more to it than I've outlined so I would appreciate any advice or comments on the subject from those who are more experienced. I would especially like any estimate of what you think would be a fair percentage of the profits to pay a working partner if I can find one. I hope to find someone local mainly because our individual charactor, reputations, integrity, work ethics, etc. can be more readily accessed by each of us. thanks for any input.

I would say 55/45 split would be the best. The 55 going to the developer.

Finally a response and I do appreciate it. I was thinking about a similar split mainly because my partner would be doing 99% of the work. If I could get 45% of the profit I believe thats still better than I could get from the parking companies.

I would like some other opinions on whether or not a 55/45 profit split with the larger amount going to the developer/partner would be something a reliable and dependable developer would in interested in. Some of you who have been involved in this kind of work have a much greater knowledge and understanding of it than I do and I'm hoping you can give me a little more insight. Thanks for any response.

Hi again. I have run several websites that generated income off of PPC. Though i was always the one doing the work and keeping the money Its not an easy business. To get a good amount of visitors to be clicking on your ads you need to invest heavily. For this reason can I ask what your capital amount is?

Well, I don't have a specific capital amount set aside nor do I plan on making an investment gamble with a specific amount. My plan is to go slowly in the beginning and as things develop I will get an idea of whether or not it would be worthwhile for me and my working partner.

I know there's some costs involved to develop a money making website but I also know there's a lot of work involved as well. I would front the money to get things started...not as a salary for my working partner but for the actual website cost other than labor. That investment would have to come back to me off the top before any profits are realized for either me or my working partner. I suspect my partner would require an acceptable and agreeable contract.
