discuss .COM on mobile keyboard

So I switched to Android a while back and one thing I've noticed is that there is a .COM button in chrome when typing in a URL. I think this is big for .COM premium domain owners who have domains that have businesses running solely on .net and others. I wonder if Google will implement a .APP too since they own it. I'd really like to see Apple implement this if they haven't already.

It reminds me of the .mobi discussions 10 years ago. Some domainers were speculating that Nokia etc would add a .mobi key or even make it default. Needless to say, it didn't happen.
