Is there still interest in sites with local ads anymore? I did a search of the top 100 U.S. Cities by population and lo and behold #15 Columbus, Ohio was available. This domain just looked sexy to me and I had to have it.

I also live in Columbus so maybe that is a reason it popped to me.

Do you all see any value in a name like this?

Yes, I think it's pretty good. Clearly a very narrow, focused market (versus worldwide) but that can be a great advantage too when it comes to promoting and advertising the site (you only need to advertise in Columbus). Plus you can walk around and talk to local business, get them to advertise on it, sponsor something.

I think it would probably be of most value to someone in Columbus. Better to develop than sell, I reckon.

Had a quick search. I'm afraid he's much better looking than me but the grey hair is the same!
