.co.uk versus .uk......which one will prevail??

Hi........have a number of .co.uk names......a bit worried about value of my domains once .uk is introduced.......of course my current registrar has assured me that .co.uk is no.1 and will continue to be so......................comments please,thank you

Personally I want .uk to prevail, it should've been .uk from the start as opposed to .co.uk
But we shall see...

thanks for input taker............I am actually quite surprised that comments have been scarce....there must be at least 100,000 .co.uk"s registered( a very big majority by reputable and uk based companies who use .co.uk as their no.1 web address and also and the "domainer")..........WHO GETS FIRST CRACK AT .UK?????

Perhaps because it has already been discussed and nominet dropped the plans in February.
