co.uk Question

co.uk Question XBOX360

Well as luck would have it I missed regging XBOX360FACEPLATE(s).COM by 20 seconds last night(or at least this is what Verisign said when I called), so after taking the night to calm down I decided to reg the co.uk and the org.uk versions since folks in that part of the world account for around 30-50 percent of XBOX and XBOX related sales.

My question is this, what would be the best forum to sell these in or where would be the best place to get advertisers in that part of the world if I just decided to develop the site?

Nice work.My biggest problem at the moment is whether or not to develop Xbox360FacePlate(s).co.uk. Since the FacePlate Aspect of the Xbox360 will be the hottest selling of all the accessories. One part of me says sell and get a nice price for it, the other wants to develop and either sell the Faceplates or just put ads up and get the revenue from that.

Guess it all will depend on what sort of price I get for a sale. Long story I know (smile). BTW, good grab on those domain names. Should get some good revenue out of them.

Developing an xbox accessory site is not a good idea. Unless you own a game biz selling games and consoles i suggest selling the domain to an end user. The problem is no company specialises in a specific consold like nintedo gamecube or playstation2...

They all have their own site which they market all their products in. E.G. if i open sonylaptopCDDrives.com , no laptop company will want to buy the name from me!

However, if you can find the product for you site CHEAP, maybe selling it would be a good idea. You should remmeber game consoles Always take longer to come to the UK and there is ALOT of competition. In general uk game players dont order much things online
