I would say with proper guidance .CO could REALLY have a bright future!

Today it sold at Godaddy expiring auctions for $2,175

=> HOWEVER one has to keep in mind that not everybody is investigating
constantly expiring auctions of Godaddy.

The fact that a domain sold lower in Godaddy auctions then 3 years ago somewhere (else I premsume) doesn't proof anything.

There has been a lot proven over the past 2-3 years.

Around the time 666.co sold for $7500, Sedo had an auction where several .co sold in the $xxxx range. That level of demand doesn't exist today for .co.

People see auctions, let's not kid ourselves. Somehow they knew enough to bid at Sedo years ago. It's just a lack of interest at this point which keeps bidders away.

I just registered rfl . co which expired last week.

All of the offers i've received for .co's have been from design/creative/digital agencies and from startups. So keep that in mind when investing in .co's.

If I can't answer yes to that question, I probably don't want to own that .co. And there are a lot of dictionary words that don't fit that criteria. You can't judge these domains the same way you'd judge a .com. (Sorry if this post was super obvious).

I made most of my sales with .CO domains.
Started off with 8 (when they first (re)launched in their current form) and I am down to my last one (which I will not be selling).
Out of the original 8, I only let 2 drop off and renewed/sold the others over time.

.CO is where I made my net gains in selling domains.
I have nothing but positive things to say about .CO domains/extension.

Just my 2 cents.
