I sold Friendly.co for $2,000 in February. It was through Afternic and appeared in their sales report the week of March 19th. I undersold it but I'd forgotten I had it listed at that price under BIN...but a sale is a sale!

There may be 1.5 million domains in the .co zone but there will also be about 30K that are Conficker worm sinkhole domains, pending deletion domains and registry registrations. So arguably there are 1.5 million domains but not all of these domains are end-user registered or active domains.

It depends on what is considered an active domain. If you were to consider a developed and active website as being an indication then the true level of activity would be below 500K (optimistically). I do not consider the numerology from that clueless consultancy that COInternet uses for web usage analysis to be a true measurement of .co website utilisation. The .co ccTLD is, for the most part, a heavily speculated ccTLD. That said, numerically, the 1.5 million figure is impressive for a non-core TLD but most .co domains are just making money for the registry. The pending deletion domains would be variable and could be between 20K and 95K depending on the month (linked to reseller promotions and advertising).

No, unfortunately they're not. I can't even tell what half those names mean. You're better off sticking to well-known, highly searched 1-word keywords.

Not trying to be harsh - we've all regged regrettable names in the past, but you're better off not wasting your money with those names.
